“Spoken word promoter has taken the country by storm” The Sunday Post
Sonnet Youth is a literary rave. A poetic piss up – bringing together poets, comedians, musicians, rappers and cabaret acts for a night of no holds barred performances. Curated and hosted by Kevin P. Gilday and Cat Hepburn, Sonnet Youth reinvents live literature for a new generation.
For four years we curated and hosted monthly flagship nights across Glasgow, Edinburgh and as of last year, Stirling. Sonnet Youth has curated performances for numerous festivals and events (Hidden Door, Belladrum, Pride House) and worked closely with some amazing organisations such as Toonspeak Young People’s Theatre for their Word of Mouth writing workshop series. We’ve also produced a number of touring spoken word theatre shows.
